A long, disapointing weekend. but looking foward to Spring!

I was really hoping you had a chickie, but that happens unfortunately a lot. It sounds like your bator was fine...will your dad and or mom let you try again....I know it gets real cold there..used to live in maine several years ago but if you only had a couple it might not be too bad if you have a basement....but the little chicks can smell pretty bad as I am finding out but I have a heated garage so its not too bad....unless we loose power...but then in this case I'm the boss (I'm the mommy....3 little girls my daughter 11 got me hooked...so give your mom a chance you might be suprised, but it is important to think about and plan where they will go depending on the weather and how often you lose power..a major issue for me...if you want ideas let me know. (but I haven't given in on the horse!) mary

And

), just waiting and waiting and second guessing yourself and asking questions and so on. We have found all sorts of links and info to help us all, and we have all become closer just talking and chatting and losing a chick. What you need to do now is stock up on knowledge of hatching and check out the candling sites and build you a candler and get set for next SPRING!!! YEAHHHHHH!
