Well, I am a bit of a greenie, but I do get that without hunting and fishing the ecology would be much worse. As natrual top line predators have been killed off, we as predators must step it to keep flocks/herds at sustainable levels. So yep hunting/fishing are "green" activities where I sit.

That's great! I already knew the numbers and have spent many years advocating outdoor shooting sports for women and doing alot of my hunting myself. I haven't been in the field for a few years because I have been spending my energy in other endeavors but I know I was spending so much on permits and equipment that it was definitely less expensive to just buy meat instead of working for it. Thank you hunters/fishermen-women.
