Keeping it consistently too high will not allow the air sac to grow properly and the chicks could drown when they pip internally because there is too much fluid within the egg.

You can change the settings on the alarms to your preference. It's a matter of figuring out how.I'm pleased to report that humidity has come down to 45% today and it's staying steady,although the incubator alarm goes off if it drops under 45%
