Hello all, first post...i have a young BA, about 26 weeks & it follows my roo everywhere, getting up if he moves. tried to sex it as a chick & hopefully female, but is this normal behaviour while still yet to reach maturity? could it be a young male? its not making any noises. i will take a photo, but the comb is still very small for its age so im still hopeful for a female!
I understand Australorps may not start laying until up to 30 weeks?? I have another two hens, shavers, they all get along fine...now, but the BA stays clear of them with the big boy.
help, guidance much appreciated!
