We got our second egg today. I am happy to report the cat did not get it

The heat lamp we put in the coop plus a few warm days seems to have made it a good laying time again for us.

In all seriousness, I had a nasty run-in with an emu as a kid at a safari park. Stupid thing decided my face looked like good eats.

I finally found the genetics for my breed! They are Bovans Brown need with Bovans white and Sagitta 1.Bovans brown- Rhode Island Red and Rhode Island White 2. Bovans White- Rhode Island White, White leghorn, White jersey giant and white rock 3. Sagitta- Rhode Island Red, New Hampshire Red, and Cornish X
