I have some baby chicks and have some wing pictures. Now, does this wing test apply to all breeds? I have an Easter Egger rooster and hens, cuckoo Maran hens, and a bantam rooster and hen. But, the bantam egg didn't hatch.
In the first picture, the box in the upper left is number 1, then work clockwise.
Same with picture 2.
Some of the chicks in picture 2 hatched a day and a half after picture 1.
Alright...I can also post pictures of the chick later.

Wing feather sexing is only accurate for sex linked crosses involving a fast feathering cock over slow feathering hens with the chicks inheriting the genetics for feathering rate from the opposite sexed parent - the sexing must be done within the first three days.

So your only large rooster is an EE? Can you post pics of your roosters, the EE and the bantam? The EE could very well make sex linked olive eggers with your cuckoo Marans hens.

Here are the roo's!!

Thanks everyone, for all your insight. I guess I am such a newbie that I'm reading/watching others saying it's so easy to tell early!!
