Am i a d Uccle

1998 ASOP page287-Belgin Bearded d'Uccle Bantams; Shape: " Same as Booted Bantams [pp 284-287] except for beards and muffs".
No U or V difference.
I have most of the Standards from 1875-2002 and don't recall Booteds being listed as "Sablepoots" in any of them. In the 1879 edition-the year they were admitted-they are listed as White Booted Bantams.
There was a period when Booteds were listed as Bearded & Non Bearded [no d"Uccles]. I believe the 2 breeds were seperated in the Standard 15 1914.
Again, I am only referencing the American Poultry Association Standards-England or one of the European Standards may very well [in fact I know they do] name breeds/varieties differently.

LittleChickenRacingTeam is in Canada, perhaps a Canadian Standard of Perfection?

It was my understanding as well, that there are Booted Bantams and d' Uccles, but that hatcheries often don't care to tell the difference and interbreed them. Muffs/beards are dominant, so most of the offspring would have the d' Uccle look.
