Thanks for the additional info Matt. I believe I have a general idea of where the fairgrounds are located but it's been 20+ years since I've lived in Lincolnton. Last time I tried to take the backroads to Lincolnton through Burke County I ended up lost thanks mostly to Hugo coming through there and destroying my landmarks, especially the little antique store at the corner where I would turn to head for Lincolnton. Thank goodness we have MapQuest today!

I'll definitely look for NCPoultry2 table Asher, would love to meet some of the people I see online here!

Will you be going through by I-40? Not to volunteer Matt, but he is great at directions. I can tell you how to get there, but I can't gurantee you'll find it based on me. ;-) (I get lost with my GPS! hehe)
