Like care wise, do they do better with feed on the ground.. etc. Unfortunately, after a coon attack my one call drake has lost an eye. He is back in with his flock, seems okay, manages the pool okay.. food wise i am slightly concerned, he struggles a bit in that area, maybe this is just requiring an adjustment period?

The flock is fine with him and his lady has gone right back to him after the recovery period. Just an area i am not very experienced with.

TIA

One of my ducks had temporary vision loss after a raccoon attack. She did fine after some adjustment. Ducks find food with more than their eyes. I wouldn’t worry unless you see weight loss.

Thanks all. Yeah, he seems to be A-OK now... he is still a bit different but obviously he needs an adjustment period to learn how to navigate with only one vs two eyes. He is now eating normally, thankfully!
