If you are not too old to eat chickens then you are not to old to raise4 them. Oh, and pratts does have chicks this time of year. I believe they have them year round. I have never seen then out.

Where in Yuma are you? It has grown so much since I left. I grew up on 7th Ave and went to O.C. Johnson School. I remember when it was all desert and orange groves west of Ave A and my brother and I used to walk to Ave B and feel the cool night air. Now that is all houses, and even beyond that I think. I worked at the 4th Ave Dairy Queen for 3 years in high school, and the best place to go for a day trip is Squaw Lake/Senator's Wash.

Howdy! Just moved to Yuma/Somerton AZ. My daughter bought me two Jersey Giants chicks. My husband is the store manager for TSC in the Foothills. If allowed I plan on adding a few more to my tiny flock of two.
