anyone out there large scale chicken/turkey farming?

I'm thinking about going into the chicken farming business. Maybe turkey. Like the big commercial houses. Anyone out there doing it? Got any advice? I want to work from home.

I don't think you'll find any large scale commercial operations on here, but you'll find PLENTY of small ones!

Ya your in Arkansas... their should be plenty of contacts in your state. I would stay clear of it though if your going to do it under contract.

Your talkine $250,000 for one house and only about $20,000 profit per year.

Try paying that loan back on that kind of income... Your better off raising some for locals and finding a niche. Such as pasture-raised, slow grown, or organic.
