I just set 6 eggs in the incubator. So it begins our LongMoss 2012 Emu watch. We aquired a used incubator and hatcher today. I have enough room in the hatcher to incubate 32 emu eggs. Where o where will they all come from? Don't worry folks, I wont fill it. I couldn't afford such an adventure anyway. I will be using the incubator for chickens.
My 4 eggs from Kalaya have not even left the State of Kansas yet, so it will be a while before they get here. At least a day or two, so I'll just have to sit and watch you guys.
If I drop off the face of the earth tomorrow it will not be because I wanted to but that my satellite internet connection is too slow or it has put me over the daily download allowance. It's a bummer most days just opening my own blog when DH is also online. I am afraid my BYC days may be numbered.
We have unlimited allowance between 11 pm and 4 am so I will at least be able to get on and report if my egg hatches. Hopefully it will be ok but just in case, I wanted you all to know.
