I wanna be able to turn my chickens blue though, not buy blue chickens. You know? Like, we have some Speckled Sussex, maybe

Forgive me if the answers are somewhere in the 22 pages of comments that I didn't read through;

Is this utilizing a manipulation of body chemistry? Or is it introducing dyes or hormones into the feed? Artificial or plant-based?
