I believe most (other than 4, who I think is a hen) are roos. Unsure of 6 also. What do y'all think? Range from 13-14 weeks old, and a mix of EE's, Pumpkin Hulsey, Leghorns.

7,8, and the one behind 5 are cockerels
Yes, there are a couple of other cockerels, but I just evaluated the 8 ones that are numbered.

I can see why people think 2 and 6 are males, going by coloring, but they are 13 to 14 weeks, have small combs, and no male specific feathering. The red coloring isn't just confined to their shoulders. Compare their combs, feathering and coloring to #8, who is definitely male. There's a world of difference.

That's the basis of my opinions on these, but only time will tell for sure.

I'm only suspecting 8 is a roo, but I need a better photo. The wings are covering up the saddle. If there's more males than that, you guys are eagle-eyed! I'd assume pullets until someone crows.

Did you get them sexed? Or straight run?

The only reason I'm leaning cockerel for number 6 is that it's got a deep red patch on the shoulder. I think he's a late-developing cockerel. I too compared them to number 8, but we all know there are differences in development. We may just have to wait and see for 2 and 6.
