Are these pine shavings too much like saw dust?

It's in a shoe box sized container for comparison. My girls are less than a week old and I don't want them to eat it. I've been using paper towels since I got them on Friday. Thoughts???

that is what i have been using and so far no prob other then them scracing it right out of the cage and onto the shelf and down on the dog

Thats what I used the whole time, Saw dust is much more fine then that.
