christinethemac, Very cute they are with their feathers growing in! If you look at the OP's pics on p 1 of this thread, hers both had a lot of comb at 2 !/2 wks. A lot more than yours.....I'd love to see updates as yours grow....

Agree, I see muffies and beardz, only the downy chick version!The beards won't really show until they feather, but you can kind of see that they have puffy little chins/cheeks out of chick fluff. Look like D'Uccles to me!
I hope you keep posting pics as they grow!These pictures are a week or two ago and the boy's is now bigger and even redder (pic2). It gets bigger and redder by the day. It's clear now that it's a he. The girls combs alll stayed yellow. I'd say by 5 weeks you can definitely tell on the d'uccles.
I can't envision how PUFFY and unimaginably CUTE chicks of that cross would be! X2, we would absolutely love pictures of your sweet babies! e
