Not sure who is doing it, but it looks like one of my girlies is a pain! Every batch of eggs we collect, 1 or 2 have a hole in it! Looks like someone pecked it, or maybe a toenail. And it`s usually my green eggs too! AAaarrrgggg!!!!! Any of you have girlies with a twisted sense of humor like that?
Do you have enough nestboxes? Are there so many eggs in there that they cannot avoid damaging them?
Do you have enough shavings or hay in the boxes to cushion them as they walk around in there?
If so, I can say I only saw this once in my flock. Only happened the one time....
