Not yet, but I think it is moving still- I noticed it is #8 of the original 8 that I let her sit on so it must be behind the other one by a few days. I don't remember what number I marked on the Friday-midnite-hatched egg (maybe 5?). If it was still under her it would be abandoned by now so good thing I put it in incubator.@CaroleW Did that other broody egg hatch?
2nd broody egg hatched! It looks about the same but seems to already have a comb (that I didn't notice on first one) so we will see if roo or not.Not yet, but I think it is moving still- I noticed it is #8 of the original 8 that I let her sit on so it must be behind the other one by a few days. Are the rest of the eggs due to hatch in another week?2nd broody egg hatched! It looks about the same but seems to already have a comb (that I didn't notice on first one) so we will see if roo or not.
8 days left on the countDOWN timer- I think that means they are to hatch the day after that on Day 0.Are the rest of the eggs due to hatch in another week?
Well, either way I'm sure that you will let us know, and take a picture of them.8 days left on the countDOWN timer- I think that means they are to hatch the day after that on Day 0.
I personally would not do it. They claim it's harmless. I'd be more concerned about the part of the article that says that some places inject vaccines into embryos in the egg.Would any of you try to do this with your hatching egg's? I wouldn't.
