Aww... Nuts! What about them?

Ok, I give my girlies sometimes chopped walnuts or sliced almonds left over from cooking as treats. They love them! So I was wondering if it really was ok since they eat everything else too. And my other puzzle is about acorns. Where I moved their pen too, didn`t realize that the old oak would actually start dropping acorns again by the bucket load! At least acorn dropping has almost stopped, lasts about 2 weeks. My girlies chase and eat them whole when they fall in! They seem to love them! But are acorns and other nuts ok as treats for my girlies? ...they love em so...

Sure - nuts are full of good protein and fat. They're a great treat for both people and chickens!
