So I got 6 straight run cemani from Feather Lover Farms. I know these may be tough but maybe you guys can spot a few.
1. I believe this is a roo. Nice long tail and only one starting to get that green sheen to his feathers.
2. Smaller. Slightly larger tail than some of the others.
3. More rounded tail. Does one of them seem to have much difference in comb size.
4. Large body. Rounded rump and small comb
5. Standing next to the one I think is an obvious roo. Big body. Round rump.
1 and 2 look to be cockerels in my opinion. All of the others have the same round rump feathers. No real difference in comb size yet. And no real sharp saddle or hackle feathers on any birds.
Thanks for any input! I'm hoping 2 roos 4 hens. Would be lucky in my book!
