lol I've heard of a leghorn going broody before, and it was the same situation. "Wait... what?" Just goes to show you never can tell for sure. lolWell, I guess I never announced.... my POLISH hen went broody a few weeks agol we were amazed because they never do. She successfully hatched both of her eggs and they ended up a male and female! We are so happy!
She is not as friendly as a few of my wyandotte chicks! The second and third one pictured... I had to place him and then RUN away and lay down for a pic b/c he kept running toward me! He's always first out of the brooder when I open the door! My Barred rocks are crazy friendly too! They are such therapy for me!You will LOVE your Orp! They are awesome birds, even the hatchery quality are friendly (maybe a bit bossy LOL) and sweet!
