Bad news if you live in Michigan!

What can they do to stop people from having small farms on their land? Sorry, I am from England UK and we don't have laws like that so I'm confused. Could they take people's animals away from them? Enforce a fine payment? Criminal punishment? It seems like a silly rule, I can't see the point at all!

Not to get political, but Michigan has a sell-out governor who appointed a Chamber of Commerce trained ag commissioner that is already in the pockets of big business. Sorry, but this might have been coming because the state government in Michigan is owned by corporations. No checks on them, and they'll sell out to the big donors EVERY TIME. Vote them all out of office, and cite this ruling as to why if you are a chicken owner.
