We have a little black tailed Japanese bantam rooster, and he’s very sweet, great little rooster. My question is, can we successfully hatch our own eggs if he fertilizes the girls? Or will they be too weird of birds to survive real life?

If you're asking about a bantam standard cross, then no, most will never show that they're anything different than barn mixes

I have had many hatches with bantam dads and standard moms. You get medium sized adorable little chickens - nothing weird about them. They’re actually quite cute
