So, the chicks that I have are mixes from a breeder. She has pens for full blooded pairings and then the rest are together for mixed eggs. Occasionally changed in and out.
The hens she has are-
Hens: Marans, welsummers, leghorns, cream crested legbars, barred rock, Deathlayer, cinnamon queen, olive egger

Roosters: Maran, welsummer, Deathlayer, bielefelder, or olive egger.

The two little chipmunks she said we're either bielefelder or welsummers. The rest are a mystery. 😊
Can you guess parentage for any of these guys? I have some ideas. Not sure if any of these guys could be sex linked either, but if so, let me know. 😊

Will post photos below

Chick one-clean legged. Maybe deathlayer or deathlayer mix?
Probably a cockerel being it's so pretty already 😂 we will see.

Chick two...unsure. But my personal favorite so likely a cockerel 😂
Chick three and four
These two are pretty identical aside from one is lighter and more red then the other. They are to be welsummers or bielefelder. Which I think both are sexed by color, correct? If so, we have one of each.(they're only day olds-the rest are a week to a week and a half.)

Chick five and six
Almost like 7 and 8 aside from way more black on the face, beak and legs. And no white spots on their heads.

Chicks seven and eight
More orange on beaks and legs then the other two black chicks. And these guys have white dots on their heads. One much more noticable then the other. Eight I suspect has some marans in the mix as it is lightly feathered on it's legs. Seven does not. Maybe barred rock X marans?
