A drop floor/door ... is a hole cut in the "middle" of the floor, and a ramp is hooked to one side ... which I would not recommend ... a pain to open and close, or secure ... look at the pictures in OP ...
The problem with "free range out back, to get the yummies" ... is when the hawks, coyotes, raccoons, dogs, and cats show up, looking for a yummie chicken dinner ... IF your lucky enough to not loose them at first ... AND you "lock them up in the coop/run" ... is your coop/run big enough for them 24/7 for a few weeks? The rest of their lives???
Is the coop & run STRONG enough to keep all those critters out?
Yeah, only need one nesting box, they will need a roost to sleep on though ...
