Bielefelder? I don't know what a chickens ear should look like!

Is she who they said she is? She just joined my little.flock. This photo makes her look rather slim, but she's definitely a round mound of rebound. I was googling what her comb should look like when she is getting ready to lay, and saw articles that her ears should be red. They look really pale to me, the same tone as her teeny comb. Will the ears redden up when her comb does?

Yes, the comb, wattles, and face will redden up as she gets closer to laying.
