Okay I read somewhere that in order to get a black sexlink, you cross a RIR rooster with a BR hen, is this correct.. I have some black sex links that I bought from a local breeder and would love to continue to add more to my flock.. They are considered one of the best egg layers aren't they?? Thanks

Yes BSL are great layers! RIR Roo x BR Hen

Also RSL are good too. They are a RIR Roo x Rhode Island White hen or a Delaware Hen.

Both are Great Layers!
