One of the "pullets" I got as day-old chicks at the end of April has started to cock-a-doodle-doo :-(
He's a gorgeous blue Ameraucana. The pix I have aren't great quality (my chickenyard is roofed, so it's all shade) but you can get the idea. I live in a residential neighborhood in Wilmington, and absolutely can't keep a rooster here. I'll drive anywhere with in a 100-mile radius of Wilmington to someone who'd like to have him.
I really, really, really don't want to end up having to kill this beautiful bird.
