Blue Earlobes in Chickens : Any Breed Besides Silkie

I had no idea Sebrights also had blue earlobes! Is that part of their standard?

I don't show my birds so cannot say with 100% certainty. The breed standards I've seen say the face, wattles, etc.. should be mulberry. They do not mention if the lobe should or should not be blue/white.

I checked and most of my pheonixes do have blue, which makes sense on why my mix has it.

I believe Sebright should have blue in their mulberry color face.

No, it is a disqualification, they should have red/mulberry. Sometimes birds with dark skin but white earlobes will get blue earlobes.

Except that I wouldn't say my pheonixes have dark faces but some have the blue (and yes before anyone tries to say differently, they're pure. I have exactly 2 birds that are part Phoenix and I'm not including them in my Phoenix group).

No, just dark faces with white earlobes in general. Sebrights have a mulberry face, not fibro.
I suppose even lighter faces could have blue earlobes if their earlobes are white, but that would be less common.
