When I was younger I thought this stuff (tattos, piercings, etc) were just stupid.
I'm not sure what happened but now at 37 it really makes my heart race.
When I'm watching LA Ink I have to change the channel quick when my wife
comes around, not cause she's a prude (she's not, hardly), but because I just
can't explain it.
 
10 yrs ago my daughter got her belly button pierced the same day I got my tattoo. The tat never hurt, not even when they were doing it. Her belly button was sore for 6 months...and then there was the time when she fell asleep on the couch and got it caught in the afghan she wrapped up in!

On our next trip to Hot Springs, I am gonna get my 2nd tat and hopefully talk my SO into his first. As far as piercings go, I'll stick to the ears, tyvm.

I guess I am just a plain Jane here. I can barely keep up with one pair of earrings much less for other piercings!!!
