Hi ! It’s been a few weeks and these babies have been doing a lot of growing up they are about 9-10 weeks. 1/2 way till the egg laying days. However, I think based on a previous post I have some Roos in the mix. And this is an update post to see what you all can help me confirm— I cannot keep Roosters where I live (in the city) /// I plan on starting over again with some certified hen chicks in the next few weeks so too much time doesn’t pass. I appreciate your thoughts and responses!!!

Blanche looks like the most obvious cockerel to me. Watch Toast though

Agree with the above. I have some concerns about Hopper too. Is that one a Buff Orpington? Do you have a full body shot? Penguin is looking a bit iffy too, those are some pretty big wattles.

Do you need help identifying breeds too?
I see a white plymouth rock, speckled sussex, barred plymouth rock, white cochin, buff orpington, and production red.
Agree with everyone on the genders.

I think that at 9/10 weeks the only ones that look like males are Blanche and possibly toast. Maybe hopper as well...?
Are there any pictures showing their tails?

Blanche and Toast look like males, Hopper also but might turn out to be a female.
The others look like females to me, but there is still some uncertainty at this age.

Now the only one I see that is a definite pullet is Stripe.
Keep an eye on the others and keep us updated!
