Picked up a couple ducks from the assorted ducklings at Tractor Supply back in April, and I initially thought that she was a Rouen like the other duckling we got. However, she's significantly smaller and darker than our Rouen. I know Hoover (who supplies Tractor Supply) sells Golden 300 hybrids, but all of the pictures of mature Golden 300s I've seen look much lighter. She's the darker one in the gif.

Rouen.

Note the two eye stripes. You'll know a Mallard when you see one, they're very streamlined looking, Rouens are more stocky, big and short.

That's what I was thinking, but she had two facial stripes on each side (instead of one) as a duckling and she still has both of her complete back toes.

That's what I'm leaning towards, but she looked similar to the female on the left as a duckling, and she's significantly smaller and has a far less defined blue stripe on her flank when compared to our Rouen.

That'd mean she'd look like this.

She's laid an egg every day for five days now. I'm thinking that she is one of the darker variants of the Golden 300 mentioned on a few hatchery sites.
