Breeding Birchen Marans

Hello everyone, I have a small flock of Birchen Marans and I was hoping for advice on picking the best rooster for breeding.

Really they need to mature more before you make any final decisions. Marans tend to take a while to fill in. That being said I prefer the first and last cockerels.

wish u find a decent rooster for ur hens I have a black Maran I thought maybe you can guess her age and help me since you own Marans ty

That is definitely not a Marans which is clearly evident by the crest.

That looks like it might be a black copper Marans x cream legbar (olive egger). Looks to be around 10 weeks.

Agreed, she appears to be a Mars Bar.
