Broody hen on chicken and duck eggs

I noticed my white Plymouth had been sitting on two eggs for two days so I put about 8 more eggs under her the majority is duck... If the chicken eggs hatch will she still sit on the duck eggs? Or should I discard the chicken eggs and just have her sit on the duck eggs? (I mainly care about the duck eggs)

No, she will not keeping sitting on the duck eggs after the chicken eggs hatch. She will get off the eggs to take care of the chicks. You could either take away the chicken eggs or try to take the chicks from her as they hatch and raise them yourself.

Dang... I just bought 3 more Americaunas with 4 ducklings today so good on chicks.. when is best time to take them?
