Hillbilly Hen those are some cute babies. I love that first pic. I didn't know that some chickens have eyeballs growing out of their wings.

My silkie has been broody since the summer. She's about to drive me crazy. I have to physically remover her from the coop daily. She will go out and peck around for about 15 minutes but heads straight back to the coop despite me removing all the eggs. I'm going to finally let her try to hatch some this spring.

It's also fun watching the mama with the babies and so much easier than brooding them yourselves.

One of our broodies has left her nest of 5 eggs to share the other 5 eggs under broody #2. Ugh! Crazy chickens!
