Broody raised chicks.

I've read that some broodys can be a bit aggressive and not let people near their chicks resulting in chicks that aren't very tame. My broody however seems to be happy for me to be near her chicks and lets me handfeed them chick crumb. Is it OK to do this if she is happy? I hold my hand in front of her with chick crumb and she calls them out from under her and picks bits up for them to eat. I would like them to be tame if possible.

Yes it's a great idea to get them as tame as you can. Have fun!

Thats great then, I'll carry on. I got mum in July last year at 12 weeks old and broody raised. Took me a while to tame her but she's friendly now and it would be nice if her chicks are friendly.
