My duck has been walking normally up until yesterday when I noticed she was limping quite harshly. It definitely appears she has Bumblefoot, she has the black scab on the bottom foot pad. I did an Epsom salt bath, and some skin peeled off and was bleeding but nothing was coming out so we sprayed with some antimicrobial and Neosporin and have wrapped her foot. She is in her own space on dry clean bedding.

Her foot is starting to swell and it is warm - she is eating and drinking normally. I’m terrified of infection but we have no vets around us that will take her.

How long until a bumble foot infection becomes fatal? We plan to soak her feet until the scab removes from the foot - it doesn’t seem like this will happen easily.

What is the best course of action with this type of issue?? She is a large jumbo pekin, sweet as pie and I just want her to heal up - I’m terrified she’s going to become I’ll and pass away :(

Can you post pictures of the foot? 20220525_074116.png 20220525_074837.png

They’re not the best pictures of her foot, I currently have her in a bath soak at the moment. This was last night

Try PRID from Amazon for about $7. Works like a charm.
