What kind of medium do you use?

These are done with watercolor and colored pencils.

Finally finished day three. So many ideas and so little time!
My day was like: take care of the chickens. Make raspberry cobbler. 4-H meeting.
Put in cobbler. Okay, it cooks for an hour, now time to draw. Eat cobbler. Finally time to draw. And now it’s 10:29

I like the blue outlines. I use watercolor pencils because I like the control but I’m considering real watercolor because it blends better.

Also, it’s funny how out of all the woodpecker species, half of us picked Pileated.

So it is… I don’t know how I missed that, lol.
Especially since purple is my favorite color.
I think it’s cool how much traditional art we’re seeing here. I get used to seeing mostly digital on some threads and my traditional additions feel out of place somehow.

It's my favorite color too! I think it complements almost any color.
Yeah, not saying that digital art is bad, but I definitely like seeing the traditional art more. I am mainly an acrylic pet portrait and wildlife artist, but I enjoy using many other traditional media.

Finally, today’s! Don’t know if this bird frequents swamps that much, but oh, well. They can! The blending is messy, because I didn’t have the right shade of colored pencils.
