A good few inches of snow on the ground and freezing here, but the sun is out and the snow is melting in the paths we shoveled for the flock. They have started venturing out a bit. Our top hen had blood on her beak(no wound) and the rooster had two gashes on his face! We think they had a scuffle yesterday.

Just started with 5 chicks 3 weeks ago and I have two golden comets and 3 Rhode Island reds and yourself
