Call Ducks Finally Hatched

Pretty sure these numbers, whether they're 26, 28 or 35, are meant to be used as a guide. For example, it's written everywhere that peafowl eggs hatch in 28 days, but many peafowl breeders report their eggs hatching in 26 days.

The Muscovy cross eggs that I just hatched were out and fluffed on day 27, so again, it's a guide, not a rule.

It probably also says that the larger quackers (Rouens, Pekings, Runners, etc) take 28 days, right?

I think I looked at it at one of the feed stores, but decided not to buy it.

A lot of factors affect what day becomes "hatch day". That's why they call it a guide and not cast in stone.
