calling any one from missouri

At this time, I have Lakenvelder chicken, and assorted Call duck hatching eggs in northeast Oklahoma.
Are you selling them? Do you go to the Afton Swap? IMG_3701.jpeg

Chick fever hit me hard. I have an almost overwhelming amount of chicks. Now I'm going to have to rush and make some chicken tractors to move my adult birds around in and keep my breeding groups so that my new babies can have the coops.

I got my F1xF1 Freedom Rangers in the incubator. I'm really interested to see what the chicks end up looking like. Daddy Rooster is 13.5lbs and the biggest hen is 10.6lbs. I plan to spend the rest of the spring and summer hatching out different meat bird crosses to see what I get, and how active the chicks are.

I'm down to 6 hens now that Pee Wee died... and the lay-a-thon has stopped as well, we get a couple of eggs a week now.

Oh wow. Maybe the laying will increase as the days get longer….
My 9 older girls are definitely laying a lot less than last year unless they haven’t totally resumed yet. I’m hoping they are still going to increase.
