Hey, the eclipse is just a month away, on April 8! Those in SE MO will be in the totality zone. We can drive directly south down into Arkansas to experience it. I think it’s about 2.5 hrs. Will decide the day off, if weather is good.

We got 2.5 inches of rain and thunder booming all night, but the hail mostly missed us. And my plum tree still has some blooms on it.

We really needed the rain.

Happy St. Paddy’s day!
One of my bantam EE pullets is broody. I think they are 8 months old. She’s set on setting, I cannot dissuade her. Yesterday I put her in the broody cage in the basement for the night. Today, this afternoon, is the Lamar swap, and I am considering taking her in just so I don’t have to deal with her, but it seems cruel to take one alone. To be continued……..

No, didn’t go. I had a talk w her and we agreed she could stay here, but would not be allowed to be a mom. I just love those little blue eggs after all…
