The chick on the left is bitsy, in the pic Bitsy is 4 weeks old the chick on the right is three days old. we moved bitsy into the chick brooder with our new chicks because his siblings had out grown him so much that they were pooping on him. He lasted to about 8 weeks old before we found him colapsed in the brooder. the only thing that ever grew on him was his wing primary feathers and they didnt grow much

Below are two full-sibling red jungle fowl x American game chicks at about 5 weeks post-hatch. Chick on right had suffered a two-week bout of cocci and nearly died. Notice, not only is he much smaller but his head is also still covered down. He never did catch up in size.

I have a silkie hen thats only a pound.. she is soooo tiny... She's the meanest chicken i have too... and its not a midget... she's a little chicken, or vertically challenged... lol.
