Can I feed chickens mash from beer making?

I was noticing that the home brew materials my hubby and friends use are quite similar to many recommended foods for chickens. Can I use the left over Nash for the girls? It isn't alcohol until it ferments so I'd think it would be okay.

I hear it's perfect and wise to use it. It surely couldn't be to awfully bad anyways unless it's moldy.

I think someone here gets spent grains from a brewery near them...they say their chickens do exceedingly well on it...

You can it as a supplemental feed or a treat but not as a regular feed.
Even if it has similar ingredients to poultry feed it is lacking a lot of the nutrition.
