Can I use this as scratch?

My daughter had the bright idea to try & do bird feeders...welp we had a major chipmunk & mice problem around the house (not the coop! Thank goodness) and she had bought two bags of this....just wanted to see if I can use it as scratch for the girls. Thanks!

Chicken scratch has alot of the same ingredients, so I don't see why not really.

The only thing its lacking is oats, barley, & flax seeds.

I think the comment about not for domesticed birds or pets are for you house birds.
Mice! My chickens love to eat mice!

Sure! But fyi, they still need normal food.

Yup! I use bird seed for scratch myself and my girls have no problem with it. Just make sure that scratch and other treats don't exceed 10% of their diet

Thanks guys! I thought as much, but wanted to check with the experts! Yeah, it would just be for them to kick up the shavings in their coop the handful a day they get
