Happy New Year everyone! I'm turning a small heater on and off in my carriage house/chicken coop. They seem to be ok so far during this frigid weather in Southern Ontario.

They have bare bottoms though! ! Can't figure out why.

It very likely is mites that is causing the bare bottoms.

I "have" to share the farm sign I just made for the end of our driveway. Still need to add an open/closed to the bottom of it. I didn't think anyone but chicken people would REALLY understand
And I think I may remove the 2 cents part. I didn't mean for it to be that close to the "from." Might have an overload of people flocking to my house thinking my eggs are only 2 cents lol
