Canker not going away!

Some of the meds you've been using also work on fungal infections. Ronidazole is one. So, it probably isn't fungal in your rooster's throat.

I'm sorry to say that you've tried everything. In this country, when a doctor has tested and tried all sorts of drugs and a condition persists. they call the condition "idiopathic". It means "We don't have a clue what's wrong". I have such a condition, but even though no one knows what it is, it still makes me sick from time to time. Your rooster likely has such a condition, and maybe even a lab might not be able to identify it.

The bottom line is it's making this rooster so sick, he's likely dying from it. Is he the only rooster you have?
He's the only Rooster I have. I also have a hen who's with him all the time and both of them are pets. I've had them for almost 4 years now.

This has to be very upsetting for you then. I'm so sorry for this sad state of affairs. I wish we could figure out what this is, but I'm all out of ideas.

The photo of the throat is not very clear. Am I seeing canker at the back of his throat?

I need to see a photo of his face where the canker is. Or is this confined to his throat?

The poop shows that he isn't eating as well as he should. That's why it's green.

If you wish to try the copper sulfate, first purchase the copper crystals. Copper sulfate pentahydrate. You will not be mixing the blue crystals directly into the drinking water, nor must the crystals in their dry form be anywhere near your chickens. You must take care not to breath any dust from them as they are extremely caustic. Wash off if any contact your skin. In the dry form copper sulfate is a dangerous substance.

However, mixed into water in the proper proportions, it is very safe. But first it's necessary to mix up a stock solution which you will use to treat the drinking water.

Stock solution (You will need to convert to Metric)

1/2 cup copper sulfate crystals
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
1 quart water

Allow an hour for the crystals to completely dissolve.

This stock solution will be used to add to the rooster's drinking water at the following proportions (notice that it takes very little copper sulfate solution to treat water.) 1 1/2 teaspoons of stock solution in 2 quarts of water. This is what you will give the rooster to drink the same as he always drinks his water.
Hello I was wondering if you can help me with the copper sulfate, I bought this but I don’t think it’s helping, I noticed just today that it said 25.2% CU could that be the problem?

Stock solution :
1/2 cup copper sulfate penhydrate crystals.
1/4 cup vinegar
1 qt water

Mix this stock solution at 3 teaspoons to one gallon water.

Never give chickens the dry crystals.

Though it was never tested, a vet did tell me that it looked more like a tumor than a canker. It was too aggressive in the end even though it had been removed twice.
Thanks for replying and for the info. Again I’m so sorry. Did you get another friend for your hen? Is she still healthy?

I'm thinking of getting another rooster for her but I think it's a bit too early as I cannot seem to forget him. 😅

The hen is fine. She gets lonely but now she just sits in my room while I work.
