So I've been reading that I should up his calcium to help heal the bones....anybody use Tums to do this before? I was just going to crush one and mix with a little water and give it to him with the syringe....Does that sound like a good idea, or no?

Better not give him Tums.

I would give him Greek Yougurt if possible....or a least plain yougurt (not vanilla). Or get some oyster shell. Or crush up egg shells for him. All three are supper high in calcium - natrually.
