A stray cat that has been visiting the neighborhood died a few hours ago in my next door neighbor's backyard. Is cat mange contagious to chickens? I don't think it was ever in my backyard...but I can't be certain. Since I am setting up a worming schedule for my girls (wazine first then ivomectin later)....will the ivomectin work against it? I don't think the cat suffered from Sarcoptic Mange (heard that is highly contagious to all creatures including us humans) since it wasn't scratching or had bleeding sores.
