Hello! I set up my incubator 8 days ago.The first 6 to seven days the humidity ranged between 45% and 55%.Since yesterday, the humidity in my house increased so did the humidity in my incubator. It now reads 65-67%, measured with 3 different hydrometers. My incubator has 2 trays inside and on the instructions said to put water in the first tray for the first 17 days of incubation and in both trays for the lockdown. Now, do I stop putting water in the incubator in order to lower the himidity? Will the change in humidity affect the development of the embrios? To top it off, tomorow we are going in vacation and my mom will come to turn the eggs and adjust the humidity.

OK. so yes don't add anymore water. Your embryos are fine it will just affect the air sac size that's all. It's more important towards the end of incubation.
Tell your mom to keep humidity around 45% - 55%. Wether adding water or not.
